AP Partition

AP Partition is a full-height partition system with
aluminum profile frames in a choice of finishes
and continuous double glazing in transparent
safety glass without vertical supporting elements.
The system is also available with solid infill panels
or in mixed configurations, and includes swing
doors with the same characteristics.
The double glazing consists of two glass panels
enclosing an insulating air cavity. Each of the
panels is made from two plates of glass, 5+5 or 6+4
mm thick, depending on acoustic requirements,
with a layer of PVB film between. The vertical joint
between adjacent glazed elements generally
consists of a vertical aluminum profile. The total
thickness of the glass partition is 80 mm, while the
width is variable, being defined during the design
phase together with the client. Generally, a module
is chosen to harmonize with the building structure
or office environment.
The internal composition of the solid partition
modules consists of horizontal steel sheets,
1.2 mm thick, with heat insulating and soundabsorbent
material in between. The two exterior
faces are finished with various types of paneling
(wood, laminate, metal, etc.), selected according to
project specifications. The total thickness of the
finished partition is 125 mm.
The glass door is made with contoured, toughened
double glazing, framed in polished aluminum
profiles, for a total thickness of 80 mm. It is
usually 1000 mm wide, but different modules can
also be adopted. Solid doors are also available
upon request. The door is fitted with a hidden
hydraulic closer that does not interfere with the
floor or ceiling.
The various configurations of the partition
and door modules can be personalized: the glass
modules are generally transparent, but at the
request of the client they can be finished in
a variety of ways, as can the solid modules.
The solid partitions are also available in a version
with glass transoms, with the same characteristics
as the two principal types.
The glazed partition can accommodate a container
unit with solid or glass sliding doors, divided in
two accessible compartments and usable from
both sides or one side only.
The glazed, solid and mixed partitions and doors
of the AP Partition line constitute an integrated
system adaptable to all types of partition
requirements. They can be easily dismantled
and reassembled by specialized personnel and
are designed to accommodate power and data
cabling installed by the client.

is designed and built for durability. It can reused
over and over while always maintaining its
attractive appearance and easily accommodating
additional elements over the years.

configurations has been tested by qualified
laboratories. Its excellent results in terms of sound
absorption and mechanical strength make it
an ideal system for design professionals to satisfy
a wide range of requirements.

AP Partition ist ein Full-Height-Partition mit
